SUMMER DAY MEDIA REBRAND
Summer Day Media small agency in Reigate where I freelanced for their second year of trading. From the moment I started working on their clients material I felt there was a disconnect from Summer Days brand positioning. Upon delving into where the company wished to be in the future, it was clear that the brands that they wanted to attract would be fun, young and consumer, and so Summer Day Media needed an identity which emulated and attracted that same ethos.

It was hard to shake the ethereal sense and femininity of the old Summer Day logo. With the use of a typeface I created and strong bold colours the new brand has a tone of voice that is strong yet fun.

The branding need to be youthful, and so myself and Nicole Mackey worked on providing a 'cartoon style' look and feel, which could work across all the business marketing material. Nicole's cartoon styling was far stronger for the website, and my playful yet legible logo teamed nicely.
Nicole's cartoon illustrations gave the website an great youthful energy. To view Nicole's work history please click here.

The small print: Assets viewed here to promote the work I have undertaken. The materials were created by myself whilst I freelanced at Summer Day Media, with the excemption of the website illustrations as created by Nicole Jeanette.
